Vic; Woman dies in stabbing

A Melbourne woman has been stabbed to death during an altercation in the city's outer east.

A police spokesman says the homicide squad is guarding a man with serious injuries
in hospital as a result of the killing at the house in Wilhemena Avenue, Bayswater, at
8.40pm (AEDT).
