FED:Qantas flight makes forced landing

CANBERRA, Feb 3 AAP - A Qantas plane has made a forced landing in Canberra due to engine
problems shortly after take-off.

A company spokesman said the plane was climbing at about 8000 feet (2,438 metres) on
its trip from Canberra to Sydney on Friday when it experienced the trouble.

"The engine was shut down and the aircraft returned to Canberra, landing without incident
