NSW: Motorcyclist dies in head on crash

SYDNEY, Dec 27 AAP - A 70-year-old man died when his motorcycle collided with a 4WD
vehicle near Picton, south west of Sydney, today.

The death took the New South Wales holiday road toll to 17, the worst road toll in five years.

The man from Castle Hill in Sydney's north west was killed instantly when his bike
crossed to the wrong side of the road about 11.15am, 2kms from Picton, a police spokesman
said.

The condition of the driver of the 4WD was not known.
